$17 per hour + up to $2,000 per month in performance bonuses
We are hiring entry-level Field Appointment Setters to speak with homeowners about home backup battery options and schedule qualified consultations for our sales team.
This is a W-2, hourly, door-to-door position. No previous sales experience is required. We provide a proven script, assigned neighborhoods, ongoing coaching, and paid on-door training.
What You’ll Do
- Canvass assigned residential neighborhoods
- Speak with homeowners about home backup battery options
- Ask basic qualifying questions
- Schedule consultations with interested homeowners
- Accurately submit appointment and customer information
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude in the field
This role focuses on setting appointments. You will not be responsible for closing the final sale.
Pay and Bonuses
- $17 per hour

A sit appointment is an appointment where the homeowner attends and completes the scheduled consultation. Bonus earnings are based on performance and are not guaranteed. Full qualification and payment details will be provided during the interview.
Schedule
- Minimum of 30 hours per week
- Primary canvassing hours are:
- 9:00 AM–11:00 AM
- 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Evening availability is required
- Team meetings are held in Claremont:
- Monday at 1:00 PM
- Thursday at 1:00 PM
- Employees travel to assigned neighborhoods throughout the Southern California Edison service area
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Smartphone with cellular data
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners
- Dependable, punctual, and coachable
- Comfortable walking and working outdoors
- Able to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
- Available for at least 30 hours per week
- Able to travel to Claremont and assigned field territories

Work Environment
This is an outdoor, face-to-face, door-to-door position. It is not remote, call-center, or retail-store work.
