Position Title: Custodial ServicesReports To: Director of Operations Primary Purpose: The custodial position will support campus cleaning, repair projects, grounds upkeep, and general preparation for day to day operations.Qualifications: Must be a current high school student or recent graduateMinimum age requirement as determined by district policy and state lawAbility to follow directions and work independently or as part of a teamDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to perform physical labor in indoor and outdoor environmentsPositive attitude and willingness to learnEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCustodial: Assist with cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and officesSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areasHelp move furniture, equipment, and supplies Assist with floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing floors under supervisionEmpty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properlyClean windows, doors, and other surfaces as assignedAssist with outdoor cleanup and general grounds maintenance as neededFollow all district safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properlyMaintain professionalism and appropriate behavior while representing the school districtPerform other duties assigned by supervisorsGeneral Responsibilities: Follow all district safety procedures and properly use cleaning tools and equipmentMaintain professionalism and appropriate behavior while representing the school districtDemonstrate teamwork, responsibility, and respect for othersFollow district policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all timesPerform other duties assigned by supervisorsWorking ConditionsFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carryingAbility to lift and move moderate to heavy objects with assistance when necessaryExposure to cleaning chemicals, heat, and outdoor weather conditionsWork may involve evenings or adjusted summer schedulesExpectationsDemonstrate teamwork, responsibility, and respect for othersMaintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school environmentFollow district policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
