We are looking for a dedicated Public Area & Pool Attendant to keep our hotel’s common spaces and pool area in pristine condition. the cleanliness and upkeep of all non-guestroom spaces within a property, such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and dining areas, their primary goal is to ensure that "first impression" areas remain pristine and welcoming for guests.
Core Responsibilities
- Routine Cleaning: Performs vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting of high-traffic areas, including stairwells, and entryways.
- Restroom Maintenance: Regularly monitors and sanitizes public restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with paper products and soap.
- Trash Removal: Empties waste receptacles throughout the property and transports trash to designated disposal areas.
- Surface Care: Polishes mirrors, glass surfaces, furniture, and metal fixtures to remove smudges and spots.
- Guest Assistance: Responds promptly to guest inquiries, provides directions, and handles special requests for assistance in public spaces.
- Issue Reporting: Identifies and reports maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, or damaged property to management.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Essential for identifying spots, dust, or supply shortages in large common areas.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand and walk for long shifts and potentially lift or move objects up to 50–100 pounds.
- Chemical Safety: Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and the safe operation of equipment like steam cleaners or floor scrubbers.
- Communication: Ability to interact politely with guests and coordinate effectively with the housekeeping team
