Chuck Nash Collision Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Collision Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality repairs, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while following OEM repair procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Repair or replace damaged body panels, doors, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, and other components.

Complete frame and unibody repairs using computerized measuring systems.

Weld, section, and bond vehicle components according to manufacturer specifications.

Remove and reinstall mechanical and electrical components as needed for repairs.

Perform metal finishing, dent repair, panel alignment, and fitment.

Inspect repair orders and communicate with estimators regarding additional damage or repair needs.

Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.

Follow all OEM repair procedures and insurance guidelines.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.

Properly care for shop equipment and tools.
Qualifications
-
Previous automotive collision repair experience preferred.
-
I-CAR certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Experience with frame repair and measuring equipment preferred.

Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, welding, and body alignment.

Ability to read and interpret repair orders and OEM repair procedures.

Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Must provide personal hand tools appropriate for the position.
Physical Requirements

Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.

Work in a shop environment with varying temperatures, noise, and dust.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and shop machinery.
