Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. This role combines advanced hair styling ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in silkpresses & blow outs along with excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring team members. As a Stylist, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding beauty services and fostering a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality signature blowouts, and hot tool styling (curls, waves, sleek straight looks) in a timely manner.
- Perform luxury shampooing services and scalp massages, and recommend customized deep-conditioning treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their hair type, desired look, and lifestyle to deliver the perfect style.
- Stay up-to-date on current styling trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Perform a small range of hair services including silkpresses, blowouts and rollersets.
Skills
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, active State Cosmetology or Hair Stylist License.
- Skillset: Strong proficiency in round-brush blowouts and hot tool styling across all hair textures.
- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
- Personality: Outgoing, positive, and a true team player who loves interacting with clients.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends (which are our busiest event days!).
- Knowledge: of salon sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
