Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components from drawings or customer samples. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Lathe/Machinist will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines according to specifications.
- Program CNC machines to produce
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure product accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Proficient in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and blueprint reading.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tooling effectively.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
