As a Donation Center Attendant, you are the first point of contact for donors at our attended donation centers. You’ll provide friendly and efficient customer service, assist with unloading donations, maintain a clean and safe site, and ensure all donations are processed responsibly and in line with Goodwill’s mission and values.
What You’ll Do:

Greet donors promptly and courteously, assisting with unloading donations and providing tax receipts.

Accurately record donor information and maintain daily donation counts.

Sort donations into appropriate categories (saleable, salvage, or trash).

Keep the donation site clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Safeguard all donated items and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.

Support transportation or site operations as needed and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
What You’ll Need:

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, weekends, or different locations.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
Physical Requirements:
-
Able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to forty (40) pounds with no support regularly. Over forty (40) pounds request for additional team member assistance as needed.

Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion. Manual dexterity is required.
