Position Overview:
As a Pool Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper maintenance, cleaning, and repair of commercial and residential pools and uphold our standards of excellence. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on swimming pools, including cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming to maintain optimal water quality.
- Test and balance pool chemicals to ensure safe and comfortable swimming conditions for clients.
- Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters for proper functionality and perform necessary repairs or replacements as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool systems and equipment, providing effective solutions to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical levels, and equipment inspections.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on pool maintenance and care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide summary reports outlining services rendered for the day.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pool maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
