About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal/Case Manager with at least 5 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling personal injury cases from intake through settlement, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Request, obtain, organize, and maintain medical records and billing records from healthcare providers.
- Follow up with medical providers and facilities regarding outstanding records and bills.
- Review medical records and bills for completeness and consistency.
- Communicate with clients and medical providers
- Conduct detailed financial audits of personal injury files.
- Review medical bills, payments, insurance adjustments, write-offs, and outstanding balances.
- Verify amounts paid by PIP, health insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, or other applicable insurance sources.
- Identify and track all potential liens and reimbursement claims associated with personal injury cases.
- Request lien information, payoff statements, itemized statements, and final lien balances.
- Negotiate reductions of medical liens and other outstanding balances to maximize the client's net recovery.
- Document all lien negotiations, agreements, reductions, and resolutions.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal/case manager in personal injury law
- Strong knowledge of personal injury processes and procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Paralegal certification preferred but not required
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
