In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers equipped with flatbed configurations, delivering freight across various routes, and ensuring timely, secure deliveries. Your expertise in driving commercial trucks, coupled with your ability to load and unload cargo efficiently, will keep our supply chain moving smoothly. Responsibilities
- THIS IS OVER THE ROAD POSITION CROSSING STATE LINES WITH PAY STARTING 27 TO 30%. LOOKING FOR DRIVERS TO STAY OUT OVER THE WEEKEND TWICE A MONTH.
- $1,500.00 SIGN UP BONUS.
- Safely operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers with flatbed configurations.
- Drive route schedules that may include local, regional, or long-haul deliveries, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination.
- Secure loads properly on flatbeds to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments transported.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered on the road.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating flatbed trucks and handling freight load & unload procedures.
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially in route driving environments requiring precise timing and safety awareness.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards related to commercial trucking operations.
