Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/ToddlerTeacher to join our early childhood team. With your team, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants and toddlers. Your primary focus will be supporting the developmental milestones of young children through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective classroom management. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning in infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
- Observe and document each child's developmental progress, sharing insights with parents and team members regularly.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Engage with children through play-based activities that stimulate sensory exploration, motor skills, and social interaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive classroom experience that supports individual needs, including working with children with disabilities or special needs.
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies related to infant care, first aid procedures, and emergency protocols.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Experience in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and creating engaging learning environments.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous.
- Proven ability to nurture children through caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
- College Degree in ECE preferred. Familiarity with early childhood education practices, including preschool experience and toddler care routines.
