About the Role
We are looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable Caregiver Aide to join our adult day care team. This is not your typical caregiving role it is part activities assistant, part care partner, and entirely about making each member’s day feel purposeful, safe, and joyful. If you genuinely love working with seniors, thrive in a structured but lively environment, and bring both patience and personality to work every day, we want to meet you.
You will work directly alongside our care team supporting members through daily activities, personal care moments, and meaningful programming. The heart of this role is engagement and you will be someone who brings that energy every shift.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitate and assist with recreational and therapeutic programming including arts and crafts, music, light exercise, games, and memory-based activities designed for cognitive wellness and social engagement.
- Support members with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other conditions through structured daily routines, sensory engagement, and reminiscence programming in a calm, person-centered environment.
- Assist members with personal care needs throughout the day, including restroom assistance and hygiene support, always maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect. This is a core part of the role and requires someone who approaches personal care with professionalism and compassion.
- Help with meal setup, tray service, and mealtime assistance, monitoring nutritional intake in compliance with AHCA and USDA ACFP standards.
- Monitor member wellbeing, behavior, and any changes in condition and report promptly to the supervising care coordinator per AHCA incident reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate participation records, daily notes, and care documentation in compliance with Florida AHCA Chapter 58A-6 standards.
- Communicate clearly and warmly with members, families, and team members to support a positive, person-centered experience throughout every shift.
What We Are Looking For
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification strongly preferred/not required. Because this role includes personal care and restroom assistance, candidates with hands-on aide training or certification are given priority consideration.

- Direct, hands-on experience working with seniors in an adult day care, assisted living, memory care, or similar setting is highly desired. If you have spent real time providing direct care to older adults, that experience speaks loudly to us regardless of certification.
- Strong background in activities facilitation, recreational therapy, or programming with seniors or individuals with disabilities is a significant plus.
- Genuine knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care best practices and a patient, steady approach to memory care support.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage members with warmth, humor, and consistency.
- Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain prior to your start date.
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and personal care safely must be able to lift and assist participants up to 50 lbs.
- Must be physically active throughout the full shift this role involves standing, walking, bending, and moving alongside members.
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and a true team player.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Level 2 Background Screening (FDLE/FBI) required prior to hire, per Florida statute.
A Note on the Setting
This is a lower-acuity adult day care environment. There are no IVs, no medication administration, and no routine vital sign monitoring required. Our members primarily include individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other adults who benefit from daytime supervision, social interaction, and routine support. Our focus is on safety, engagement, dignity, and personal care throughout the day.
