Apprentice Carpenter – Full-Time
Allied Kitchen & Bath is an established luxury remodeling company serving South Florida for over 40 years. We specialize in high-end kitchens, bathrooms, and custom residential renovations. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn the carpentry trade and develop their skills while working alongside experienced craftsmen, project managers, and designers.
This is a full-time, year-round position with opportunities for advancement within our production team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled carpenters with the installation of kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, trim, hardware, and custom millwork
- Learn cabinet layouts, basic framing, drywall repair, blocking, shower pan and waterproofing and remodeling best practices
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Assist with material handling, jobsite preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Help protect clients' homes, furnishings, and finished surfaces during construction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Follow instructions from lead carpenters, project managers, supervisors
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean and working conditions
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of carpentry, construction, remodeling, or general labor experience preferred
- Desire to learn to finish carpentry, cabinet installation, and residential remodeling
- Ability to use hand tools and willingness to learn power tools and installation techniques
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take direction
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the trade, including lifting up to 45 pounds
- Personal work truck or cargo van capable of supporting daily installations
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
