Local wastewater company hiring full-time pump truck driver to pump septic tanks, grease traps, and industrial wastewater. Class A CDL preferred (tanker endorsement preferred).
This is a dirty, hands-on job working around septic tanks, grease traps, and wastewater. Some job assignments require digging, lifting hoses, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. This position is not strictly driving. Applicants must be willing to perform physical labor.
We operate older pump trucks with manual transmissions. Applicants must have experience operating commercial manual transmission trucks.
This is a Monday through Friday position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with overtime typically available.
Drivers are required to participate in an on-call rotation. On-call shifts are rotated between all drivers, typically every 5–7 weeks. During on-call periods, drivers must be available to respond to after-hours and emergency service calls. A small bonus is provided for on-call weeks, in addition to any hours worked.
Applicant must have a clean driving record.
Must meet all insurance eligibility standards:
- Minimum age of 25 years old
- At least 3 years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience
This work can be labor intensive at times. Excellent benefits and pay based on experience.
