Maverick Hospitality, the group behind Lucy’s American Tavern, The Bowery Bar, Layla’s American Tavern, Chubbs Taco & Tequila Bar, Sam Walker’s American Tavern in Woburn and Swampscott, is expanding with the opening of Sam Walker’s American Tavern in Bedford, located at 213 Burlington Road in late Summer 2026. Sam Walker’s is our flagship brand, a modern neighborhood tavern serving elevated comfort food, creative craft cocktails, local craft beers, whimsical mocktails, and a curated wine list. We are committed to exceptional hospitality, service, and community engagement.
We are seeking experienced, energetic FOH team members to serve and engage guests, provide top-tier hospitality, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Open FOH Positions – Full & Part Time
Weekend availability required
Bartenders ($25–50+/hr, base + tips)
- 2+ years in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Ability to jigger pour and free pour accurately
- Passion for creating fun, energetic guest experiences
Servers ($20–40+/hr, base + tips)
- 1+ year in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Strong knowledge of service steps and teamwork
- Must be passionate about hospitality and the guest experience
Hosts (starting at $17+ based on experience)
- Friendly, engaging, guest-focused
- OpenTable experience preferred but not required
Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
