This position will have responsibility for:

Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone

Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues

Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling

Notifying providers of patient arrivals and monitoring patient wait times

Ensuring availability of treatment information by accurately inputting and and updating patient information into the electronic medical record

Verifying insurance and financial information and collecting patient co-payments
Requirements:
Skills and Experience:

High School or equivalent
-
Two or more years Medical Office Front Desk experience
-
Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
-
Customer service focus
-
AthenaHealth EMR experience strongly preferred
