We are now taking applications for a position as an Inventory Specialist at SPI Guns in Hinesville, GA. The core of this job will consist of ringing out and shipping items, restocking inventory, moving boxes, printing labels, stickering items, putting items out on display, organizing inventory, taking inventory, pulling inventory, emails, and other similar tasks. It does involve some lifting of heavy objects such as large boxes. It will also involve some customer service on the phone as well as in person. Each day is a little bit different, but you can expect to spend about 45% of your time in the warehouse, 45% of your time in the office, and 10% up front in the showroom. Applicant will need to be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check. Applicant will need to live reasonably close to SPI Guns (within 30 minutes). Applicant will have to have at least some basic experience using computers.
We have a high standard for excellence at this position. We are looking for someone who is reliable, pays close attention to detail, and someone who is self-motivated enough to stay on task.
We are looking for (preferably) a full-time employee. A full-time position is five days per week. This would entail getting to the store by 8:30 AM every day and working until about 6:30 PM.
You will get paid once weekly for hourly work. If you work full-time hours, a typical week will be about 47 hours and everything over 40 hours is 1.5x pay. You will receive consistent pay and you'll know when you are getting paid every week and how much your check will be each week.

Vacation time: We offer 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year of work, 2 weeks of paid vacation per year after 2 years of work, and 3 weeks of paid vacation per year after 5 years of work.
This is a good job for someone who likes being busy and always having something to do. It's not for everyone, but if you have the right mindset, it can be fulfilling work.
