Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavioral therapy interventions to support their growth and development.
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Collect data on client progress and behavior changes
- Collaborate with the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and modify treatment plans
- Assist in the development of social and life skills in clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Qualifications:
- Experience in patient care, particularly with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Ability to effectively manage behaviors and implement behavior intervention strategies
- Experience in data collection and analysis
- Background in special education is a plus
