**Job Summary:**
Join our dynamic in-house therapy team at Embassy of Pickerington! Located conveniently in Pickerington, our facility offers a supportive environment for both patients and staff. Our collaborative approach ensures that each patient receives a customized care plan, whether they are in short-term, outpatient, or long-term care. Equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources, our therapy gym provides an optimal setting for delivering effective treatment interventions that yield positive outcomes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Administer direct patient care using therapeutic exercises and modalities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment results.
- Employ medical terminology proficiently during patient interactions.
- Implement interventions aimed at enhancing patients' functional capabilities and independence.
- Engage in case management and discharge planning procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with diverse populations across different settings, including hospitals or clinics.
- Profound understanding of medical terminology and physiology.
- Familiarity with critical care and acute care environments is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient service.
- Proficiency in case management and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
