Qualifications
- Proven experience in make-ready tasks, including preparation of residential or commercial properties for new occupants.
- Proficiency in installing and repairing Sheetrock, with knowledge of taping and finishing techniques.
- Basic understanding of light electrical systems and ability to perform basic repairs or installations.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, with experience in basic plumbing repairs and installations.
- Familiarity with general maintenance tasks and procedures related to property management.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, such as drills, saws, and other maintenance equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in various environments, including residential and commercial properties.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies related to maintenance and property management.
Responsabilities
- Perform make-ready tasks to prepare units for new occupants, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Install and repair Sheetrock, including patching and finishing as needed.
- Conduct basic electrical repairs and ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
- Handle light plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and maintaining plumbing fixtures.
- Utilize basic hand tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with the Central Maintenance team to address any additional maintenance issues as they arise.
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized during and after job completion.
- Complete work orders and report on maintenance tasks as required on a daily basis.
- Respond to service requests from tenants or property managers in a timely manner.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and safety practices relevant to maintenance tasks.
