We are seeking a summer construction helper with potential opportunity to continue work beyond seasonal.
- Beginning wages start from $15.00-$20.00
- Pay rate is dependent on experience.Greater experience may result in higher wages.
- All candidates should be prepared to take a pre-employment assessment (Involves construction-based math, reading comprehension, spelling, and solid figure turning) before being considered for an interview.We are a small but very well-established company with a reputation for excellent craftsmanship. We also have a reputation for being able to handle technically difficult projects. We work full time year round, doing all types of residential and commercial projects.This is an intermediate position. We have a co-ed field staff, encouraging both men and women to join us. We supply transportation from our shop to the jobsite and return, and we also supply the needed power equipment. We start with small written tests that help us evaluate your ability to learn our trade.Also, we happily accept applications from more experienced people who have been professionally trained.We are "old school" in that, instead of having many subcontractors, we do the actual work in many areas of construction. A few of them are:Plans, drawingsDismantle/removalConcrete formsConcrete pour and finishFraming wood and steelInterior finish trim (molding, etc.)Dryrot and major structural repairInterior painting and stainingPlus over 25 more areasWe provide our staff with the tools to learn, both physically and mentally. You need to bring the desire and fortitude. You must have a good driving record, a clean cut professional appearance, and a high school (or equivalent) education.
