At Fair Hills Resort, celebrations are part of our story. In addition to our family vacation season, Fair Hills hosts weddings, banquets, reunions, corporate retreats, and special gatherings throughout the spring and fall. These milestone moments are made possible by our dedicated Event Staff.
Our Event Team plays a key role in bringing celebrations to life. From lakeside weddings to business meetings and family reunions, you’ll help create seamless, welcoming experiences for guests on some of their most important days.
What You’ll Do:
Set up event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, décor, and service stations
Serve food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner
Assist bartenders and kitchen staff during service
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event
Tear down event spaces and assist with post-event clean up
Support fellow team members to ensure smooth, efficient operations
This is a hands-on, team-focused role that requires energy, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, guest-focused demeanor
Team player willing to jump in wherever needed
Availability to work Saturdays (our primary event day)
Previous serving or banquet experience is helpful but not required—we’re happy to train motivated individuals who enjoy being part of special occasions.
Schedule:
This is a part-time, seasonal position, primarily needed in May and September, when weddings and events are in full swing.
