Job Description:
ElevateChild is looking for a flexible and dependable Floater/Teacher to join our team. You will provide support to all the classrooms, stepping in wherever needed to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, is adaptable, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Shift:
- Part-time Hours: Noon – 6:00 PM
- Full-time Hours: 9AM - 6PM (with 1 hour break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage in different classrooms as needed and supervising children.
- Support daily routines such as meals, naps, and outdoor play.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the preschool.
- Step in for staff members during breaks, absences, or as needed
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a child care center
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and classroom environments.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
