American Traveler is hiring a RN High Risk Antepartum for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Work in the OB Special Care Unit of a hospital setting
-
Provide care for high risk antepartum, L&D, postpartum, and newborn patients
-
Night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week

13-week assignment length

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
-
Current certifications required upon hire: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP (all AHA-issued certifications only)

Minimum of one year of RN experience required

Experience with antepartum or L&D, postpartum, and newborn care required
-
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
-
Good verbal and written communication skills
-
Basic computer skills
-
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document responses to nursing interventions and treatments

Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
-
Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary
-
Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
-
Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
-
Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
-
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position

Compliance documentation and onboarding requirements must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed

Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer to allow for compliance processing

Returning travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks unless otherwise agreed, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
