EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides direct, person-centered care that supports the health, safety, and daily comfort of residents at the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:

Resident Support: Assist residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, meals, and mobility based on individual care plans

Safety Practices: Maintain a safe environment by reporting concerns and following all facility policies and procedures

Care Monitoring: Observe resident conditions, gather basic health data, and communicate changes to nursing staff

Room Upkeep: Help keep resident rooms clean, organized, and comfortable to support an inviting setting

Transport Assistance: Escort or move residents to appointments or activities using approved equipment

Documentation Duties: Record care activities and services on required forms in accordance with regulations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week

Work hours will be determined from the following shifts, with a 30-minute lunch. All shifts offer rotating days. Every other weekend is required.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
