Job Overview:
Provide expert wine knowledge and exceptional customer service to drive sales, build customer loyalty, and create an engaging wine-shopping experience. Share your passion for wine, food, and education while helping customers and team members expand their knowledge.
Duties:
- Build relationships with customers and deliver personalized wine recommendations.
- Foster a strong wine culture by educating customers and team members on wine regions, varietals, production, and pairings.
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive sales by promoting featured products, executing merchandising priorities, and achieving sales goals.
- Coordinate wine tastings, educational events, and promotional displays.
- Source special wine selections and maintain fine wine offerings.
- Stay current on industry trends, new products, and wine education.
- Maintain inventory through ordering, stocking, and replenishment.
- Support daily store operations and perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and specialty beverages.
- Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms
Preferred Qualifications:
- WSET Certification, Sommelier certification, or equivalent wine education.
- Customer service experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or liquor store environments.
- Experience with merchandising, wine pairings, and customer relationship building.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
