We're Hiring 1 Full-Time and 1 Part-Time Activities Aide – Bring the Fun, Heart, and Energy!

Norlite is looking for a fun-loving, motivated Activities Aide to join our team and help bring smiles and meaningful engagement to our residents.
Position: Activities Aide (Part-Time)
Schedule: Mix of 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and 12:30 PM–8:30 PM shifts, including every-other-weekend; 4-hour shift also possible!

Schedule: 12:30 PM–8:30 PM shifts, including every-other-weekend
What You’ll Do:
Your job is simple—make life fun and meaningful for our residents. We run 15–18 engaging group activities daily, plus personalized one-on-one time. You’ll help ensure that every resident has a chance to connect, express themselves, and feel a part of our community.
Group Activities Include:
- Happy Hour
- Bingo
- Trivia
- Arts & Crafts
- Broom Hockey
- Gardening
- Chair Exercise
- Nail Painting
- Culinary Fun
- Men's Group
- Kickball & much more!
Individual Activities Might Include:
- Card games or puzzles
- Personalized visits and conversations
- Helping residents access books, music, or hobbies they enjoy
- One-on-one support for those not comfortable in groups
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage and recruit residents to participate in daily programs
- Assist with technology (e.g., helping residents video chat with family)
- Document resident participation and enjoyment to support care planning
- Collaborate with the Activities Director and Assistant Director to create an enriching experience for all residents
