Southland Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing vertical, heavy highway, and utility construction services in Florida since 1977. We perform services for both public and private clients with jobs ranging from $200,000 to $100 million.
SCI is looking for individuals to do pipe labor work on our construction sites.
Responsibilities:

Assist in laying pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
- Assist in the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints.

Prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards

Run some types of equipment or put together and take apart scaffolding and other temporary structures
- Help foreman, carpenters, and other skilled workers when necessary
- Remove, fill, or compact earth

Follow instructions from supervisors
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

Other responsibilities as required
