Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Barista / Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be an integral part of our bakery operations, assisting customers with their inquiries and supporting our skilled bakers in the creation of our signature products. Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries, orders, and product recommendations.
- Handle transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve a variety of coffee and beverages, ensuring customer preferences are met.
- Package bread and pastries with care, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Assemble pastries, sandwiches, and baked goods with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with bakers and management to ensure product availability and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in customer service, packaging, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with basic preparation and baking tasks as directed by the management team.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in all areas of the bakery.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service is required.
- Prior experience as barista is required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Interest in artisanal baking and willingness to learn about our products and processes.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a clean and professional appearance
