Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic maternity care team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and newborn. Duties
- Assist with labor management, including pain relief interventions such as epidural administration and other comfort measures.
- Prepare and assist with various delivery procedures, including cesarean sections and assisted deliveries (e.g., forceps or vacuum extraction).
- Provide comprehensive postpartum care, including newborn assessments, breastfeeding support, and maternal recovery monitoring.
- Administer medications safely, including IV infusions, analgesics, and antibiotics, following strict aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in good standing with relevant state nursing board requirements.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic for accurate documentation.
- Ability to perform complex assessments, including vital signs, fetal monitoring interpretation, and physical examinations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients about their care options.
- Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and sterile processing skills are highly desirable.

Pay: $2,418.40 - $2,539.89 per week
