FULL TIME OVERNIGHT SHIFT
- Monday-Friday 2PM-10PM
- Monday-Friday 10PM-8AM
**Duties:**
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
-Book appointments for clients and take them to their appointments.
- Support clients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, utilizing specialized training and techniques to create a safe and engaging environment.
- Administer medications and vital signs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and housekeeping tasks.
- Assist clients with physical limitations, including heavy lifting, and provide adaptive equipment and strategies to facilitate mobility and independence.
- Provide social and recreational support, encouraging clients to engage in activities that promote socialization, skill development, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support and care.
- Document client progress and outcomes, providing valuable insights to inform care plans and improve overall quality of life.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, including intellectual and physical disabilities.
- Knowledge of dementia care and assisted living principles.
- Ability to administer medications and vital signs.
- Capacity to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical limitations.
- Familiarity with social work principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.71 - $20.29 per hour
