NOW HIRING – PIPEFITTER / HVAC MECHANIC
Tampa, FL 33602 (Downtown Tampa)
We are currently hiring an experienced Pipefitter / HVAC Mechanic for a commercial renovation project Downtown Tampa.
This position is ideal for a tradesman with strong experience in HVAC systems, chiller hookups, copper piping, and welding. We are looking for someone who can work independently, read plans, and help complete a high-profile project safely and efficiently.
Position Details
Location: Tampa, FL 33602 (Downtown)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40+ Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.00 Per Hour (Based on Experience)
Duration: 3–4 Month Project
Job Responsibilities

Install, modify, and repair piping systems for HVAC and mechanical equipment

Assist with chiller installation, piping, and equipment hookups

Install, braze, and connect copper piping systems

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

Perform tack welding and assist with fabrication as needed

Install supports, hangers, valves, and mechanical components

Work alongside HVAC technicians and other trades to complete project milestones

Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
Qualifications

Pipefitting experience required

HVAC mechanical experience required

Chiller installation and hookup experience required

Copper piping and brazing experience

Tack welding experience
-
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Commercial construction experience preferred

Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
Additional Information

Project is located at the Tampa Theater in Downtown Tampa.

Parking is approximately $14 per day.

Parking reimbursement may be considered after the first week for employees who prove to be a strong fit.

Employees may also have the option to meet at the office and ride to the project in a company vehicle.
