We are seeking a Full Time PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) to join the team at our Long-Term Care Facility in Lafayette/Newton NJ. We are offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits and a flexible schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a RPT (Physical Therapist)
Follow all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA
Provide documentation of patient's condition
Provide caregiver/patient education, as appropriate
Discuss the patient's progress and any concerns regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist.
Ensure safe treatment practices
Monitor patient's engagement and responses to treatment-modify as necessary
Conduct self in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
Valid NJ professional license
Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Prefer experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
New graduates are welcome
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk, lift, squat, kneel, bend and reach
