Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager with CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) expertise to lead our transportation and logistics operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee fleet management, streamline warehouse distribution, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. As an integral part of our team, you will drive process improvements, manage budgets, and ensure seamless coordination across multiple departments to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transportation operations, including dispatching, freight management, and fleet maintenance to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage warehouse activities such as shipping & receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
- Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles and supply chain analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across logistics functions.
- Coordinate demand planning, production planning, procurement, and purchasing activities to align supply with customer needs while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors and forklift operators, fostering a safe work environment while promoting team development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
- Strong supervising experience with a focus on warehouse operations, freight management, or fleet oversight.
- Extensive knowledge of transportation planning, procurement, inventory management, and warehouse distribution processes.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience in fleet management is highly preferred, be able to drive out of town when needed, and have mechanical knowledge to identify mechanical problems to report to our mechanics.

Pay: From $67,600.00 per year
