What You'll Do

Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair trailers, service trucks, and related equipment.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, brake, suspension, lighting, and other truck and trailer systems.

Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to identify and repair issues.

Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and safety standards.

Work closely with parts personnel, other technicians, supervisors, and customers to coordinate repair needs.

Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations clearly and accurately.

Perform final inspections and functional testing before equipment is returned to service.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and take good care of company tools and equipment.
What You Bring to the Team

High school diploma or GED required.

2-3 years of experience in mechanical repair, trailer service, automotive service, equipment maintenance, or a related field.

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot problems systematically.

Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, service manuals, schematics, and technical instructions.

Welding, fabrication, cutting, blueprint reading, or technical/vocational training is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Physical Requirements
This position is active and hands-on. It requires regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, grasping, lifting up to 50 pounds, working around tools and equipment, and working in a shop environment with moderate noise and varying conditions.
