Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and relationship-focused Staffing Resource Coordinator to support regional industrial inspection and repair projects. This position partners closely with field operations, project managers, union representatives, skilled craft workers, and internal support teams to ensure each project is appropriately staffed.
A primary responsibility of this role is directly recruiting and coordinating regional union craft professionals for planned power plant inspection and repair projects. The successful candidate will also manage staffing data, oversee onboarding and dispatch activities, prepare required documentation, and maintain accurate information regarding current and future workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and project teams to identify and understand the workforce requirements for each project.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information regarding current and anticipated staffing needs.
- Lead direct outreach to regional union craft professionals to support staffing requirements for planned on-site power plant inspection and repair projects.
- Build strong relationships with selected union craft employees throughout the hiring and onboarding processes, contributing to a positive employee experience.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with divisional operations leaders and internal support teams, including payroll.
- Engage with local craft union leadership to strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Maintain seasonal staffing databases and prepare administrative documents required for hiring and project assignments.
- Oversee the review and processing of staffing documents, including obtaining required approvals and ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
- Identify qualified and available resources for assignment to projects.
- Coordinate the onboarding process and provide a positive experience for newly hired seasonal employees.
- Communicate assignment details to seasonal employees and coordinate their timely dispatch to project sites.
- Provide regular staffing updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Assist with resolving staffing, onboarding, payroll, and deployment-related questions.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and project-coordination skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and staffing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, union representatives, project managers, and senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, workforce coordination, or employee resource planning.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, construction, power-generation, or field-service operations.
- Experience working with union craft professionals or union leadership.
- Experience coordinating seasonal or project-based workforces.
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
