HVAC Installer / Service Apprentice (Commercial) Up to $30/Hour + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Asteroid Operating Company is a growing, New Jersey-based Commercial and Residential Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Contractor seeking a motivated HVAC Installer / Service Apprentice to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Work alongside experienced technicians on a variety of commercial projects.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
- Complete service documentation using company-issued tablets.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as experience permits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of HVAC installation and/or service experience (commercial experience preferred).
- Experience with commercial HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently as responsibilities increase.
- Comfortable using smartphones and tablets.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass:
