About Us:

We are seeking an experienced Educational Planner to help schools and communities envision what’s next. In this role, you’ll be at the front-end of the design process—building relationships, uncovering needs, and translating big-picture ideas into thoughtful, actionable plans that guide meaningful educational projects.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Educational Planner, you’ll play a key role in both client engagement and project success by:

Leading facility assessments and space utilization studies to inform planning and programming decisions

Developing project scopes, cost estimates, and budgets that align vision with reality

Creating and presenting planning and programming concepts tailored to each client’s short- and long-term needs

Producing presentations, diagrams, and documentation that clearly communicate ideas to clients and project teams
-
Supporting and participating in client, community, and stakeholder meetings
-
Acting as a bridge between planning and design, ensuring concepts are clearly translated to design teams
-
Building and maintaining strong client relationships that support the firm’s continued growth

Representing the firm at evening or weekend events as needed

Contributing to other related initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in planning, urban design, architecture, or a related field
-
10+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or educational planning
-
Strong understanding of educational planning principles, including Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) guidelines and applicable building codes
-
Demonstrated success working with clients, school leaders, and community stakeholders
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with confidence and clarity
-
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
