Mid States Rebar and Supply Inc is a small family business in Atkins, IA. We are looking for people to join our team with opportunities for advancement. Our shop was built in 2017 and we are lisenced in 12 states.
Overview:
We are seeking Rebar Fabrication Operators to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for various tasks in a RMS Shearline or Schnell Barweiser manufacturing environment.
Duties:
- Operate machinery and equipment in a production setting
- Perform quality inspections on products
- Package and crane load finished goods for shipment onto trailers.
- Handle materials and products using forklifts and cranes.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Adhere to lean manufacturing principles for efficient production processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machining, warehouse operations, or manufacturing settings is preferred - REBAR is a PLUS.
- Familiarity with quality inspection procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts, overhead crains, table benders and other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of rebar fabrication a plus.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
