We are currently seeking a Receiving Associate to help manage incoming shipments and support our warehouse activities.
Position Summary
As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming deliveries, recording inventory, organizing products, and ensuring materials are accurately received before entering warehouse storage. Your attention to detail will help maintain inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound deliveries from vendors and transportation carriers.
- Inspect shipments for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
- Unload, sort, and stage products for storage.
- Enter receiving information into inventory management systems.
- Apply labels and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Report shortages, damaged products, or shipping discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock verification.
- Keep receiving docks and storage areas clean and organized.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and company standards.
- Support warehouse operations with additional tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and data-entry abilities.
- Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
