Job Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, handling incoming calls, and providing exceptional support to customers and dealers. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working with multiple departments to resolve customer inquiries
Key Responsibilities
- Process new purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Answer incoming customer and dealer calls regarding:
- Product information
- Pricing and availability
- Technical assistance
- Product complaints
- Repair procedures and status updates
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products for their applications.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, Inventory Control, Accounting, Engineering, and Shipping teams to meet customer needs.
- Issue Return Authorization (RA) numbers for product returns.
- Coordinate demo loaner equipment and shipping documentation.
- Track shipments and provide tracking information to customers.
- Assist walk-in customers as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of customer service or office experience preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Work Environment
- Office-based work environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication.
- Routine and consistent daily work.
- Some areas of the facility may not be climate-controlled.
- Occasional travel to trade shows may be required.
