Mechanical Design Engineer Details:

$80,000.00 /annually

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with Project Engineering and/or a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop new conveying equipment and refine existing designs for both custom and standard bakery equipment. This role requires a combination of conceptual design, detailed drafting, and technical problem-solving to ensure high-quality, efficient equipment designs. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and innovative engineer looking to contribute to cutting-edge bakery equipment design in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:

Develop conceptual designs, detail drawings, assembly drawings, and arrangement drawings for conveyor and bakery equipment fabrication

Ensure all drawings adhere to company design standards

Create detailed layouts to verify machine tolerances and clearances

Conduct and participate in design reviews

Apply product knowledge and technical skills to address application challenges• Complete assignments independently and within deadlines

Perform motor sizing and structural integrity calculations
Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (accredited program)

3-5 years of relevant design experience

Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
