Job Overview
looking for a self motivated individual with cabinet installation experience and Appliance warehouse experience. The job will be around 2/3 warehouse and 1/3 cabinet installation
Duties
- Safely unload, transport, and organize materials and cabinetry at job sites using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, siding, and fixtures
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
- Perform framing, metal stud work, drywall finishing, plastering, caulking, and stucco application as needed for project completion
- Execute heavy lifting tasks involving cabinetry components or building materials while maintaining safety protocols
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation procedures; address issues related to water damage restoration or mold remediation if necessary
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks such as metal or woodworking; utilize CNC machinery when applicable
- Assist in remodeling projects including flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing connections, masonry work, roofing repairs, or water damage restoration
- Unload trucks and enter items correctly in system and placed in proper spot in warehouse
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields within the restoration industry or general construction sites
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, drills, hammers) and power tools (routers, sanders) for precise installation tasks
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines including cabinetry installation, door hanging, siding application, metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience or plumbing is highly desirable
- Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements; familiarity with scaffolding or roofing is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor safely over extended periods; comfortable with working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting materials between sites
