Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for kindergarten students
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote active learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment for students
- Manage student behavior and encourage positive social interactions
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Foster a love of learning and promote the development of essential skills
Requirements:
-CDA or equivalent education.
- Proven experience working with young children
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices
- Excellent classroom management skills, including behavior management techniques
- Ability to create and implement engaging curriculum that aligns with educational standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies for young learners
- Familiarity with toddler care and preschool routines
