Stuart Rehabilitation and Healthcare, a skilled nursing facility is now recruiting a RN Unit Manager to become part of our management team providing quality care to our residents.
Shifts: 8 hour shift 8a-5p; Weekend Availability
Job Duties:
- Manage staff, oversee patient care and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Assist with training new personnel.
- Schedule and assign nursing staff and monitor their activities and follow up on work results.
- Work collaboratively, as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.
- Dedication to providing quality care to our patients.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
- Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols; enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
Requirements:
- Must possess RN license in the State of Florida with at least 2 years nursing AND supervisory experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Perform duties with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Working knowledge health care laws and regulations.
- Highly familiar with HIPAA, Patients Rights and skilled nursing facility policies and procedures.
- CPR/BLS card
- Must be able to pass level II background check and submit valid work references.
