- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred

- Strong experience with ventilator management, airway care, and respiratory diagnostics
- Ability to work independently in a PRN night‑shift environment

SnapCare is seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide PRN night‑shift coverage at Select Specialty Hospital – Omaha (Central). This role supports patients recovering from critical illness in a long‑term acute care and rehabilitation environment.
The Respiratory Therapist will perform advanced respiratory care procedures, manage ventilator support, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes. This opportunity is ideal for RTs seeking flexible scheduling while maintaining hands‑on clinical experience in a specialized care setting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current BLS certification
- RRT credential required
- Active state license as required
- Strong knowledge of invasive and non‑invasive ventilation
- Ability to perform airway management and respiratory diagnostics
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive respiratory assessments and implement treatment plans
- Administer ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications
- Perform airway management including suctioning, tracheostomy care, and intubation support
- Conduct diagnostics including ABGs, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function testing
- Assist with cardiopulmonary procedures and respond to emergencies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
