Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator with expertise in and Calipers to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various industrial machinery with precision, ensuring high-quality production standards are met consistently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with advanced measurement tools, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties
- Operate a range of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Utilize calipers and micrometers for precise measurement of parts and components, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to set up and adjust machinery accordingly.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of machine operation and materials handling.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of CNC programming, CAM programming, and other automation systems such as Fanuc controllers.
- Support quality control processes by inspecting finished products for dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse or fabrication areas, including tooling setup and basic assembly tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of machine operations, measurements, and maintenance activities for compliance and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience operating industrial machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, and Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively using mechanical knowledge.
- Prior warehouse or materials handling experience is advantageous.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times.
- Experience working with CAD software such as SolidWorks is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on assembly lines or fabrication projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
