Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist in food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Support management in training new team members and executing daily operational tasks to meet restaurant goals
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing, or retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory
