Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cable Puller and Security Device Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low-voltage electrical systems, including security alarms, CCTV surveillance, access control systems, sensors, and telecommunication cabling. Your expertise will ensure that security systems operate seamlessly, providing safety and peace of mind for our clients. Responsibilities
- Pull and install low-voltage electrical wiring and cabling for security systems, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, access control devices, sensors, and telecommunication networks
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and system design documents to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Install and configure security devices such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), CCTV cameras, fire alarms, door security systems, and alarm & access control systems
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical security systems and related equipment in the field
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete installations or repairs while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide technical troubleshooting support for system issues
- Document installation processes, system configurations, and service reports accurately for record-keeping and future reference
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in field service operations
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, computer networking, remote access software, and telecommunication systems
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret technical diagrams effectively
- Proficiency in installing low-voltage electrical wiring and equipment troubleshooting within complex security systems
- Experience with alarm system sales support or customer service roles involving technical solutions
- Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, wire strippers, crimpers along with power tools for efficient installation work
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems including fire alarms, CCTV surveillance cameras, sensors, door security integration, and intercoms
- Familiarity with NEC standards governing electrical wiring practices in commercial or residential settings
- Ability to troubleshoot physical security systems including alarms & access controls efficiently on-site or remotely
- Construction experience or familiarity with building codes related to electrical installations is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
