Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Meat Clerk, where your enthusiasm for food and customer service will shine! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for meat and seafood products. Our meat clerks select the best cuts for customers and help them find what they need. That's not all. They also stock and maintain display cases and help our meat cutters weigh, prepare, label and package products. This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your store. Energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming shopping experience while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Duties
- Assist customers with selecting meats, seafood, and related products, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness by following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Conduct visual inspections of meats and seafood for quality assurance, removing any damaged or substandard items
- Manage stock levels of perishable goods, rotating inventory to minimize waste and ensure freshness at all times
